MEADVILLE — The Franklin County Lady Bulldogs handed theBrookhaven Lady Panthers a 2-1 loss in slowpitch softball actionThursday night.

Brianna Ashmore (0-1) was the winning pitcher. Heather Havardabsorbed the loss.

Sarah Ayers led Brookhaven with a triple and a single. HannahLowman singled twice. Cary Anne Rake, Terri Hodges, Steveie Wright,Georgia Rae Rainer and Ashmore singled.
