Services for Victor Joseph Kuzmitz of Brookhaven are 11 a.m.Saturday, Oct. 9, at Brookhaven Funeral Home with burial inRiverwood Memorial Park.

Visitation is Friday from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Kuzmitz, 88, died Oct. 5, 2004, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Gary, Ind., on Feb. 13, 1916, to PaulKuzmitz and Kristina Kuzmitz.

He was a retired forester with International Paper Company. Hewas an avid golfer and an active member of the Exchange Club for 40years. He was married to Marjorie Orr Kuzmitz of Brookhaven, for 59years.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and three sisters,Julia Dion, Margaret Kuzmitz and Francis Knapp.

Survivors are his wife; his daughters, Anne Marie Slight and herhusband, Ian, of San Francisco, Calif., and Victoria Wallace andher husband, J.L., of Brookhaven; his son, William Paul Kuzmitz andhis wife, Donna, of Mountain View, Ark.; his sister, Anne MarieKuzmitz of Bluffton, Ind.; his grandchildren, Ken and Beth Downerof Minneapolis, Minn., Dee Downer of Noble, Okla., Juliana Wallaceand Kristina Wallace, both of Brookhaven; and four greatgranddaughters, Angie, Lindsey, Rebecca and Ashley Downer ofMinneapolis; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Exchange Club.
