Services for Robert J. Richardson of Hammond are 7:30 p.m.,Friday, April 27, at Richardson Funeral Home in Hammond andSaturday at 11 a.m. at Rosehill Baptist Church in Brookhaven withburial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Richardson, 82, died April 23, 2001, at North Oaks MedicalCenter. He was born in Brookhaven.

He was a logger.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Julia Lenoir Richardsonand Dunk E. Richardson Sr.; and his brothers, Jessie Evans, OscarRichardson, Luther Richardson, Dunk E. Richardson Jr., H. C.Richardson, R. D. Richardson, and W. L. Richardson.

Survivors are his wife, Jurlee Richardson; his daughters, MarthaAnn Washington, Rhonda Johnson, and Rose Warren, all ofIndependence, La., and LaToya Jackson of Hammond, La.; his sons,Carl Foster and Dale Foster, both of Amite, La., Robert Richardsonof Independence, Eugene Warren of Natalbany, La., John Carter Sr.of Durham, N.C., and Bruce Carter, Robert Carter, and CoreyJackson, all of Hammond; his sisters, Mardessie M. Watson ofBrookhaven and Wessie Harrison of McKinney, Texas; his brother, M.C. Richardson of Independence; and 35 grandchildren and onegreat-grandchild.
