Services for Jessie C. Brister Jr. of Baton Rouge are 4:30 p.m.,Saturday, May 25, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial inWellman Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-10 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Brister, 81, died May 23, 2002, in Baton Rouge. He was bornon March 3, 1921, to Jessie C. Brister and Mary Jane AlbrittonBrister.

He was a boiler maker.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his wife, JuanitaW. Brister.

Survivors are his son, Ron Brister of Sterling, Alaska; hisdaughter, Dorothy Miller of Jackson; his sister, Mayte Lee Coon ofPascagoula; his granddaughter, Stephaine Austin of Vicksburg; hisgrandsons, Steven Brister and Brian Brister, both of Anchorage,Alaska; and several nieces and nephews.
