Funeral services for Annie Mae Case Smith,of Brookhaven, were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 19, atMacedonia Baptist Church in Brookhaven, with burial in the churchcemetery. The Revs. Andy Fullington and Garland Boyd willofficiate. Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive was in chargeof arrangements.

Visitation was Thursday from 9 until 10:30 a.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Smith, 90, died Aug. 17, 2010, at Lawrence County Hospital inMonticello. She was born in Lincoln County on Oct. 15, 1919, toLumas Case and Pearlie Furlow Case.

She was retired from Stahl-Urban Manufacturing Co. She was a memberof Macedonia Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Julian “Buck”Smith; her son, Robert Kenneth Smith Sr.; her brothers, Harvey andJake Case; and her sister, Lillian Allgood.

Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Tommy Evans,of Sontag; her daughter-in-law, Mary Martha Hudson, of Brookhaven;her grandchildren, Kent “Bird Dog” Smith, Judy Ballard and husband,David, Jimbo Smith, Tony Smith and wife, Tina, Tommy “Spook” Evansand wife, Laura, and Todd Evans and wife, Chris; 11great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and manynieces, nephews and other relatives.
