Dear Editor,

On Saturday evening, Dec. 11, my wife and I attended the FirstBaptist Brookhaven’s presentation of “The Singing Christmas Tree2004.” What a beautiful and meaningful presentation it was! Thelovely music along with the moving narration and drama portrayedthe Christmas story in a such a heartwarming way. What a blessingit was for your community and surrounding areas.

In the light of the accident experienced by Brother JeffKintner, their minister of music, the people of the First BaptistMusic/Drama Ministries, along with others from the community andsurrounding areas are to be commended for such an outstandingpresentation. It was a testimony of “togetherness.” Moreimportantly, it was a testimony of God at work among people willingto invest their time, abilities and resources for His glory. Thename of Jesus was uplifted, honored, glorified and magnified.

Our prayers continue with the church and with Brother Jeff andhis family as he recovers. May God touch him with a full andcomplete recovery and return him to his place of service at thechurch.

Our hearts were touched in such a special way this Christmas,and we are grateful.
