Services for Elizabeth Bethley of Bude are 2 p.m., Saturday,March 24, at Bude Church of God in Christ with burial in ZionCemetery in Roxie.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 5 p.m. with the family hourfrom 7-9 p.m. at Marshall Funeral Home of Bude.

Mrs. Bethley, 70, died March 19, 2001, at Franklin MemorialHospital. She was born in Meadville on March 5, 1931, to Joe Reedand Elizabeth Bee Reed. She attended Mt. Olive Church School.

She was an environmental service technician supervisor for theNational Forest Service. She was a member of Pentecostal HolinessChurch of God in Christ.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, RobertBethley Sr.; one son, three sisters, and five brothers.

Survivors are her sons, Jerry D. Rees, Robert Bethley Jr., BruceE. Bethley, Kenneth D. Bethley, Lee Andrew Bethley, and BrianMoreland; her daughters, Bobbie J. Robinson, Rose Mary Pernell,Theresa Bethley and Carla D. Bethley; her brothers, Jim Reed,Anderson Reed, and Charles Reed; her sister, Mary Byrd; and 35grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces andnephews.
