Services for Lula Nell McKenzie Allred of Summit are 2 p.m.,Sunday, May 9, at Montgomery Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery. Hartman Funeral Home of McComb is in charge ofarrangements.
Visitation is Sunday from 1-2 p.m., at the church.
Mrs. Allred, 79, died May 7, 2004, at Southwest Regional MedicalCenter in McComb. She was born in Marion County on Aug. 17, 1924,to William Ottice and Beulah McKenzie.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Montgomery BaptistChurch. She enjoyed gardening and sewing. She cared for an invalidson for 50 years.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, ThomasJames (T.J.) Allred; a son, James Randall Allred; three sisters,Alice Elsie Freeman, Donnis Watts and Lorean Albritton; and herbrothers, Jabus McKenzie, Roy Kelly McKenzie and Louie D.McKenzie.
Survivors are her daughters, Patsy Nell Allred Johnson and NoraJean Allred Whittington, both of Summit; her son, Thomas EarlAllred of Summit; her sister, Edith Thornton of Smithdale; sevengrandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces andnephews.
