Memorial services for Alma Ilene Buffington, of Hattiesburg, are3 p.m. Monday, March 23, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel inMonticello.

Mrs. Buffington, 65, died March 22, 2009, at Jefferson DavisCommunity Extended Care in Prentiss. She was born in Silver Creekon Dec. 28, 1943, to Isom Swan Ward and Ollie Mae Dyer Ward.

She was a bookkeeper and accountant.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and a son, Ramondo”Clay” Buffington.

Survivors are her sons, Raymond A. “Tony” Buffington, ofHattiesburg, Christopher R. Buffington Sr., of Petal, Stanley R.Buffington, of Monticello, and Christopher R. Buffington Jr., ofHattiesburg; a daughter, Bridgette I. Strange, of Perkinson; abrother, Cecil I. Ward, of Monticello, and a sister, AngelaGarrett, of Monticello.
