Services for Adam Beck Creel of Zachary, La., are 10 a.m.Wednesday, Dec. 1 at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary. TheRevs. Frank Easley and Bruce Broussard will officiate.
Graveside services are 1:30 p.m. at Bonner Creek Baptist ChurchCemetery. There will be a gathering at Crain Funeral Home inFranklinton at 1 p.m. for a procession to the church cemetery.Father Gene Bennett of the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer ofBrookhaven will officiate.
Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 8:30-10a.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Creel, 27, died Nov. 28, 2004, at Baton Rouge GeneralMedCity, after a very courageous 9 1/2 year battle with braincancer.
He was a wonderful, loving devoted husband and father, son andfriend. He touched the lives of everyone he met. He was a carpenterby Creel father’s trade one generation to the next, work on – allmen are carpenters. He was an excellent pool player and an avid LSUfan…Geaux Tigers!
Preceding him in death were his paternal great-grandmother,Ollie Jenkins; paternal great-grandfather, Mylford Jenkins;maternal grandfather, Latimore “PawPawlat” Primes; paternalgrandfather, Milfred Creel; grandmother, Elizabeth “MeMom” Kincade;and an uncle, Bobby Primes.
Survivors are his wife, Christy Michele Miller Creel of Zachary;three daughters, Kierstyn (6), Raegan (4), and Madison Creel (5) ofZachary; two sons, Christopher Creel (9) of Baton Rouge, andGabriel Adam Creel (six months) of Zachary; his father, LinseyCreel of Clinton; and his mother, Jan Kincade of Brookhaven; hisstepfather, Steve Kincade of Brookhaven; his father-in-law andfiance, Raymond Miller and April Hayes of Zachary; hisbrother-in-law, Jason C. Miller of Zachary; his stepbrother andsister-in-law, Chad and Michelle Kincade of Baltimore, Md.; hisstepsister and brother-in-law, Marti and Tate Hamilton of Wahiawa,Hawaii; his paternal grandmother, Edith Creel of Clinton; hismaternal grandmother, Kathleen Lee of Brookhaven; his grandparents,Frank and Mary Ann Corbell of Slaughter; numerous aunts, uncles,cousins, extended family; two nephews; one niece; special friends,Josh, David, Vonda, Alyssa, Terry, Roland, “Tar Baby” and theentire ‘TNT Crew.’
Pallbearers will be Josh Ravencraft, David Estabrook, AndyCreel, Scott Creel, Jason Miller, Drew Webb. Honorary pallbearerswill be Terry Kleinpeter, Gary Dufrene, Roland Blanchard and Mike”TarBaby” Pettit.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. RuebenFabrega and staff; the staff at Baton Rouge Medical CenterRadiation Oncology and fourth floor nursing staff.
