Services for Geneal Fuller, of Brookhaven, are 10 a.m. Monday,March 16, at Red Star Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of LatterDay Saints with burial in the church cemetery. Brookhaven FuneralHome’s Natchez Drive location is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home andMonday from 9 until 10 a.m. at the church.

Mr. Fuller, 85, died March 12, 2009, at Haven Hall Nursing Home.He was born in Copiah County on Oct. 25, 1923, to Henry AugustaFuller and Mary Smith Fuller.

He was a former oil field worker. He was a member of Red StarWard of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his wife, MavisBritt Fuller.

Survivors are his daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and DaveEckman and Lydia and Larry Davis, all of Brookhaven; his son anddaughter-in-law, Rodney and Debra Fuller, of Brookhaven; eightgrandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Melvin A. ‘Miami’ Johnson Jr.

Memorial services for Melvin A. ‘Miami’ Johnson Jr., ofMeadville, will be held at a later date in St. Helen, Fla.Brookhaven Funeral Home’s Natchez Drive location is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from 4 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Johnson, 63, died March 13, 2009, at River Oaks Hospital inFlowood. He was born in Florida on April 24, 1945, to Melvin A.Johnson Sr. and Julie Ann Stone Johnson.

He was a crane operator. He was of the Baptist faith.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his wife, SheliaJohnson.

Survivors are his daughters, Cindy Palmer and husband, Wilson”Neno,” of McCall Creek, and Rhonda Gross, of Smithdale; and hisgrandchildren, Christina Palmer, Victoria Palmer, Nicolas Palmer,Thomas Gross and Ginifer Gross.

Alice Geraldine Richardson

Services for Alice Geraldine Richardson, of Bogue Chitto, are 11a.m. Monday, March 16, at Calvary Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery. Community Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of the serviceat the church.

Mrs. Richardson, 74, died March 13, 2009, in Bogue Chitto. Shewas born in Yarbo, Ala. on Feb. 22, 1935, to Joseph Edgar Palmerand Darthie Moss Palmer.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a memberof Calvary Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and two brothers.

Survivors are her husband, Jerry G. Richardson Sr., of BogueChitto; her sons, James John Stepic III, George Edward Stepic andJerry Glenn Richardson Jr.; two sons-in-law; her daughters, JoanneHalsten and Dorothy Treadaway; three daughters-in-law; twobrothers, Wilson Palmer and William Palmer; 17 grandchildren; and15 great-grandchildren.
