William Harmon Baugher

Services for William Harmon Baugher, of Maryville, Tenn., are 2p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapelwith burial in Riverwood Memorial Park.

Mr. Baugher, 85, died Dec. 8, 2008, at Blount Memorial Hospitalin Maryville. He was born on May 14, 1923, to Charles Baugher andElla Mae Etter Baugher.

He was a former employee of The Advocate newspaper. He served inthe U.S. Army during World War II and was a Purple Heart recipient.He was a member of Nelson Chapel.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a brother, DonaldBaugher; and a sister, Dorothy Nunn.

Survivors are his wife, Evelyn Brister Baugher; his daughters,Sheryll Thompson and husband, George, of Maryville, and AnnCheveallier, of St. Amant, La.; his grandchildren, Kieffer Baileyand wife, Trish, Carrie Palmer and husband, Paul; and hisgreat-grandchildren, Eddie Bailey and Laura Palmer.

Lovella Harris

Services for Lovella Harris, of Bude, are 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec.13, at Bude Church of God in Christ with burial in Oak GroveCommunity Church Cemetery in Franklin County. Marshall Funeral Homeis in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Saturday from 9 until 11 a.m. at the church.

Mrs. Harris, 82, died Dec. 6, 2008, at Riverland Medical Centerin Ferriday, La. She was born in Union City, Tenn., on Aug. 26,1926, to Joe Alexander and Willie Mae Alexander Parkman.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, LaGreeHarris.

Survivors are a son, John B. Knight, of Bude; her two daughters,Willa M. Kinds and Francine Chaleston; her six grandchildren; hernine great-grandchildren; her two great-great-grandchildren; and ahost of other relatives and friends.

Ina McCoy

Graveside services for Ina McCoy, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Saturday, Dec. 13, at Hillcrest Church of Christ Cemetery.

Visitation is Saturday from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. at BrookhavenFuneral Home on North Jackson Street in Brookhaven.

Mrs. McCoy, 90, died Dec. 12, 2008, at Silver Cross Home. Shewas born in Lincoln County on April 18, 1918 to Johnson C. Smithand Mary A. McGee Smith.

She retired from Stahl-Urban Company. She was a member ofHillcrest Church of Christ.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her brothers, Denver Smith and Sam Smith, both ofBrookhaven; her two grandchildren, Matthew McCoy and Betsy Ross;her two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
