Funeral services for Josie Marie MoakWallace, of Bogue Chitto, are 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 19, atRiverwood Family Funeral Service, with burial in Calvary BaptistChurch Cemetery.

    Visitation is Monday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeralhome.

    Ms. Wallace, 84, died Dec. 16, 2011, at Haven Hall Living Center.She was born in Mississippi on Oct. 4, 1927, to Henry Clay Moak andFlorence Wallace Moak

    She was a clerk at the Bogue Chitto post office. She was a memberof Calvary Baptist Church.

    Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Aubrey “Bud”Wallace; three brothers; two sisters; and one granddaughter.

    Survivors are her son, Freddy Wallace and wife, Kathy, of BogueChitto; daughters, Betty Green and husband, Gordon, of BogueChitto, and Melinda Moak and husband, Bro. Millard, of Columbia;brother-in-law, Ray Wilcox, of Sumter, S.C.; grandchildren, RichardGreen, Brandi G. Smith, Michelle Stinson, Brett Moak, and BrandonMoak; great-grandchildren, Kash Stinson and Mason Stinson.

    The family wishes to express a special thanks to the staff andnurses of Haven Hall Living Center and Hospice Ministries ofBrookhaven for their care.
