The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’shelp in locating Irene Wilcher Rancifer of Brookhaven.

Wilcher, a black female about 5’11” and weighing approximately142 pounds, was reported missing by her family Oct. 30 and thesheriff’s department has been able to generate few leads into herwhereabouts, Sheriff Wiley Calcote said.

The last contact the family had with Rancifer was Oct. 22 at herLincoln County home, he said.

Investigators have been unable to identify what clothing she mayhave been wearing prior to her disappearance.

“That’s all we know,” Calcote said. “We’re searching andfollowing up with family members to exhaust all potentialleads.”
