HATTIEBURG – Erin Holifield’s 10 points led the PresbyterianChristian School Lady Bobcats to a narrow 31-30 win over theBrookhaven Academy Cougars.

Brookhaven Academy resumes play Friday, hosting Central Hinds inJohn R. Gray Gymnasium.

The Lady Cougars (7-1) suffered their first setback as PCSoutscored them 11-6 in the fourth quarter. Laura Beth Wright’s 10points and 9 rebounds led BA in scoring and rebounds. Anna K.Mangold added 9 points and 8 boards.

Wright and Terah Winborne each had 4 steals.

Junior High Action

Destiny Allen scored 8 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in the victoryover PCS. Madison Warren added 6 points and Lindsey Winborne5.

Warren made 4 assists and Winborne 3. Ashton Rials, Anna Carollloand Winborne had 3 rebounds apiece for the Lady Cougars(5-2).

Eight points each by Sabrina Turner and Landon Garner led PCS inscoring.
