Graveside services for Earl Alfred McCue Jr. of McComb are 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, at Shady Grove Cemetery in Bogue Chitto. Riverwood Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. McCue, 83, died March 30, 2013, at his home. He was born in Mississippi on April 5, 1929, to Earl A. McCue Sr. and Vallie McCue.

He was retired from Croft Metals in McComb. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church and the Lions Club. Mr. McCue served in the U.S. Army/Navy during World War II and the Vietnam, Korean and Cold Wars.

Preceding him in death were his parents; grandson, Shannon Earl Lawrence; sister, Elizabeth Evans; and half-brother, Leon Smith.

Survivors are his wife, Earline Whittington McCue; daughters, Melody McCue Bassemier and fiancé, Ricky, and Teresa McCue Lawrence and husband, Thomas; brother, James McCue and wife, Della, of McComb; sisters, Flora Temple and Mickey Moak; half sister, Doris Cain; six grandchildren, Victoria Robertson, Cindy McMinn, Bobby J. Davis Jr., Lea Lea Bassemier, Brittany Bassemier and Kelsey Lawrence; and seven great-grandchildren, Destiny, Blake and Conner Robertson, Cheyana Lawrence, Kaden and Cory McMinn, and Kylie Davis.
