The Brookhaven Lady Panthers posted three wins in Saturday’sNorth Pike Slowpitch Softball Tournament before rain forced thecancellation of the remainder of the tournament.

Brookhaven defeated Wesson 7-1, Bogue Chitto 4-3 and Enterprise4-3. Mandy Vinson was the winning pitcher in the three games.

Brookhaven 7, Wesson 1

Powering the Lady Panthers with an out-of-the-park home runswere Kensey Hoff and Vinson. Hoff added a single. Brittany Smithripped a double and a single. Collecting two singles apiece wereMegan Bateman, JaRonda Moore , Ashley Sykes and Kayla Prince.Doubling was Chuvaquah Smith. Singling were Samantha Boutwell andCortney Fielder.

Brookhaven 4, Wesson 3

Moore homered to lead the Lady Panthers. Belting three singleswas Sykes. Two singles were drilled by Hoff. Brittany Smithtripled. Doubling was Boutwell. Bateman, Smith, Vinson, Sykes andFielder hit safely.

Brookhaven 4, Enterprise 3

Moore’s homer, double and singled directed Brookhaven. Sykescollected a double and a single. Hitting a pair of singles apiecewere Brittany Smith and Allyson Wallace. Fielder hit safely.
