Services for Winnie Bell Posey of Brookhaven are 11 a.m.,Friday, April 26, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial inPleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday beginning at 4 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Miss Posey, 85, died April 22, 2002, at Meadville Nursing Home.She was born in Lincoln County on Nov. 12, 1916, to Ira FelderPosey and Georgia Bell Smith Posey.

She was retired from Stahl Urban Company with 39 years service.She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her sister, Allie PoseySmith; and her brother, Carl Posey.

Survivors are her brother, Leonard D. Posey of Brookhaven; hernephew, Michael F. Posey of Brookhaven; her nieces, Georgia JoanMullen and Debby Bodin, both of Brookhaven, and Dorothy Smith ofWesson; and several great-nephews and great-nieces.
