Services for Ruby Cleo Smith Case, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at Macedonia Baptist Church with burial inthe cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.
Visitation is Monday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home andfrom 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
Mrs. Case, 85, died March 17, 2006, at Beverly Health Care. Shewas born in Lincoln County on Dec. 22, 1920, to Henry Loring Smithand Mary Ann Smith.
She was a retired seamstress with Stahl Urban. She was a memberof Macedonia Bapist Church. She wa a lifelong resident of LincolnCounty.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, James R.Case; her brother, Whitney Smith; and her sisters, Melba Sykes, andMildred Sykes.
Survivors are her son, Gerald J. Case and his wife, Lisa, ofWoodward, Okla.; her daughters, Ernestine Gatlin and her husband,Lee Edward, of Bogue Chitto, and Irma Jean Ross and her husband,Roland, of Brookhaven; her brother, Henry L. Smith Jr. and hiswife, Johnnie, of Stilwell, Okla.; her grandchildren, Vickie Brown,and Jamie Gatlin and his wife, Francis, all of Bogue Chitto, JulieGray and her husband, Kent, of Helena, Ala., Ronney Ross and hiswife, Elizabeth, of Brookhaven, Ryan Ross and his wife, Mary, RustyCase, and Lisa Moak and her husband, Brian, all of Summit, JenniferCase, of Chickasha, Okla., and Garrett Case of Woodward; 18great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
