Services for James Kenneth Galey, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Thursday, Aug. 25 at St. Francis of Assisi Church with burial inPleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. Riverwood FamilyFuneral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Thursday from noon until 2 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Galey, 73, died of heart failure Aug. 22, 2005, at hisresidence. He was born in Evansville, Ind., on Aug. 11, 1932, toSimon Galey and Helen Bevens Galey.

He was retired. He served in the Navy and in the Korean War. Hewas a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and four brothers.

Survivors are his daughter, Sandra Hebert, of Brookhaven; hissons, Clifford Galey, of Brookhaven, Kenneth Galey, of Slidell,La., Rick Galey, of Lacombe, La., and Robert Galey, of Brookhaven;his sisters, Marion Herr, of Chandler, Ind., Tiny Taylor, of NewBurgh, Ind., Eileen Shenk, of Evansville, Ind., and DollyWinchester, of New Burgh; and a sister-in-law, Nancy Galey, ofEvansville; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
