Annie Merle Dunn Hill, 83, was called to heaven on Thursday,Sept. 2, 2010. She was born in Brookhaven on June 27, 1927, and wasa resident of Eight Mile, Ala., for 30 years, and Mobile, Ala., for20 years.

She was a member of Moffett Road Baptist Church and Myers MemorialBaptist Church for many years. She was in the Joy Choir and sang inthe Three Roses and a Thorn Quartet. She was always dedicated inserving the Lord. She worked for Raphael’s for many years.

Mrs. Hill never met a stranger and always had a smile on herface.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Michael Hill and Bruce Hill;her parents, Dours D. Dunn and Maudie L. Dunn; three sisters,Lillie May, Zelma Lee, and Helen Marie; and two brothers, Dours L.Dunn and Willie A. Dunn.

Mrs. Hill is survived by her husband of 63 years, Wayne Hill; herbrother, Robert Dunn (Aline); her sister, Mozelle Williamson; hergrandchildren, Bryan Hill (Tammy) and Faith Quinones (Roberto); hergreat-grandchildren, Britney Hill, Marleigh Hill, Maranda Hill,Conner Hill, and Krystina Quinones; and many beloved nieces andnephews.

Funeral services were held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Homein Mobile on Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010, at 2 p.m. The family receivedfriends at the funeral home from noon until the service hour.Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
