Funeral services for Scott Douglas Jones, of Wesson, are 2 p.m.on Sunday, April 10, at Zion Hill M.B. Church in Wesson, withburial in the church cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Saturday from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Jones, 48, died April 2, 2011, at his residence. He was born inLincoln County on Dec. 7, 1962, to Israel Bailey and Mable BraxtonJones.

He was a 1980 graduate of Loyd Star High School. He was a managerfor Advance Auto Parts Distribution in Gallman. He was a veteran ofthe U.S. Army and member of Zion Hill M.B. Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his daughter, Katina Hunley of Brookhaven; hisgranddaughter, Amare Thadison of Brookhaven; his brothers, CharlesJones of Gary, Ind., William Jones of Wesson and Willie Applewhiteof Barberton, Ohio; his sisters, Donis Bryant of Kankakee, Ill.,Clementine Wright, Dorene Neaquaye, and Linda Applewhite Perry, allof Oklahoma City, Okla.; Mary Ann Smith and Belinda Irvin both ofWesson, Valarie Wilson of Brookhaven, Irene Pendleton of Hazlehurstand Mae Dora Dismuke of Dallas, Tex; his devoted friend, WillieFrank Butler of Wesson; and many nieces, nephews, relatives andfriends.
