Jeanette Floy Ivy Allen

Services for Jeanette Floy Ivy Allen, of Brookhaven, were 11a.m. Friday, Nov. 20, at New Sight Baptist Church in Brookhavenwith burial in the church cemetery. Community Funeral Services isin charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Allen, 86, died Nov. 18, 2009, at Brook Manor. She was bornin Brookhaven on Aug. 13, 1923, to Almond Ivy and Lilly WhiteIvy.

She retired from Stahl-Urban Co. She was a member of New SightBaptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, RudolphAllen; her sons, Royce C. Allen and Albert Lee Allen; a brother,Garland W. Ivy; and a granddaughter, Cassie Annette JamesBegnaud.

Survivors are her sons, Winford R. Allen and Jack M. Allen andwife, Linda, of Wesson; her daughters, Janet E. Allen James andhusband, Charles, of Lafayette, La., and Judy Allen Case andhusband, Billy, of Brookhaven; her 16 grandchildren; her 19great-grandchildren; her five great-great-grandchildren; her twostep-grandchildren; and her four step-great-grandchildren.

Wessie Mae Lambert Calhoun

Services for Wessie Mae Lambert Calhoun, of Jayess, are 11 a.m.Saturday, Nov. 21, at Divide Methodist Protestant Church inMonticello with burial in the church cemetery. Wilson Funeral Homeis in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. and will continueSaturday until service time at the church.

Mrs. Calhoun, 96, died Nov. 16, 2009, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center in Brookhaven. She was born in Lawrence County onJuly 5, 1913, to Wesley Lambert and Nannie Magee Lambert.

She was a retired seamstress from Kellwood Manufacturing inMonticello. She was a member of Divide Methodist ProtestantChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, William T.”Bill” Lambert; a daughter, Alma Boyd; her three brothers; her twosisters; a son-in-law, Ted Boarman; and a grandchild.

Survivors are a son, Thomas Calhoun and wife, Laura, ofMonticello; her daughters, Elizabeth Boarman and Delores Norton andhusband, Noel, all of Jayess; a brother, John W. Lambert, ofJayess; her sisters, Bonnie Durmmond, of Baker, La., and EdwinaCash, of Jackson; her seven grandchildren, Pam Ouellette, ofDallas, Texas, Vicki Helfrich, of Madison, Mona Boyd, of Austin,Texas, Joel Calhoun, of Monticello, Chad Boarman, of Richmond, Va.,Bert Norton, of Ardmore, Okla., and Matt Calhoun, of Summit; hereight great-grandchildren, Courtney Helfrich, Bailey and LukeBoarman, Caleb and Gavin Calhoun and Natalie, Garrett and KatieNorton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Divide MethodistProtestant Church Building Fund.

Martha S. Fauver

Services for Martha S. Fauver, of Brookhaven, were 11 a.m.Friday, Nov. 20, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel on Natchez Drivewith burial in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Fauver, 94, died Nov. 18, 2009, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter in Brookhaven. She was born in Lincoln County on June 25,1915, to Zack Smith and Lizzie Scarborough Smith.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Pleasant Grove BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Cecil L.Fauver; and a daughter, Jeanice F. Lockhart.

Survivors are a daughter, Peggy Cupit, of Brookhaven; a sister,Pat Bramlette, of Brookhaven; her two grandchildren, Rhonda Jonesand Tanya Crider and husband, Stan; and her threegreat-grandchildren, Sara Crider, Will Crider and LilleeCrider.

Louise B. Gill

Services for Louise B. Gill, of Bogue Chitto, are 11 a.m.Saturday, Nov. 21, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel withburial in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Gill, 87, died Nov. 19, 2009, at her residence. She wasborn on Aug. 3, 1922, to Bennett T. Brown and Trudy Mae Brown.

She was a seamstress. She was a member of Gum Springs BaptistChurch in Braxton.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Bennett and TrudyBrown; a son, James E. Gill; a daughter, Martha McCaffery; abrother; and her two sisters.

Survivors are a son, Jerry L. Gill, of Brookhaven; herdaughters, Carolyn Cook, of Georgia, Peggy Harper, of Brookhaven,Lorraine Creel, Sarah Bales and Gloria J. Miller, all of BogueChitto; her 38 grandchildren; her 45 great-grandchildren; and her12 great-great-grandchildren.
