Edwin ‘Gerald’ Moak

Services for Edwin “Gerald” Moak, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Wednesday, March 15, at Macedonia Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.
Visitation is today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Moak, 67, died March 13, 2006, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Lincoln County on March 29, 1938, to RalphMoak and Iceline Brown Moak.
He was a a retired supervisor with Chevron Oil Co. He was amember of Macedonia Baptist Church where he was a deacon. He servedhis country in the U.S. Army.
Preceding him in death were his parents, and his brother, JamesRalph Moak.
Survivors are his wife, Patsy Warren Moak, of Brookhaven; hisdaughter and husband, Allison and Jerry Hoeniges, of Brookhaven;his brothers and wives, Wincie and Rosie Moak, and Alvin “Buck” andLisa Moak, all of Denham Springs, La., and David “Rod” and MickeyMoak, and Doug and Wanda Moak, all of Bogue Chitto, and the Rev.Cletus and Linda Moak, of Tallulah, La.; and one grandchild, TuckerHoeniges.
Pallbearers will be Wincie Moak, Alvin Moak, David Moak, DougMoak, Paul W. Jackson and Brad Johnson. Honorary pallbearers willbe Greater Generation Coffee Club.
