Services for Myrtle L. Moak of Summit are 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2,at Catchings Funeral Home in McComb with burial in MontgomeryCemetery in Lincoln County.

Visitation is Sunday from 12 noon until service time at thefuneral home.

Mrs. Moak, 86, died Oct. 31, 2003, at Southwest MississippiRegional Medical Center in McComb. She was born in Lincoln Countyon Sept. 19, 1917, to Julius and Nellie Mae Freeman.

She was retired from Kellwood Industries, where she worked as aseamstress for 30 years. She was a member of Fellowship BaptistChurch in Summit, where she was a member of the Sunshine SistersSunday School Class and was a Sunday School teacher. She was also amember of W.M.U.

She loved to knit, quilt and crochet. She also liked to work inher yard and especially to grow flowers.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Marvin Z.Moak Sr.; and a baby sister, Annie Freeman.

Survivors are her sons and daughters-in-law, Marlin and TamaraMoak of Summit, and Marvin Z. Moak Jr. and Dottie Moak of Raymond;her sisters, Jessie B. Hunt of Natchez, Bessie Mae Cutrer of McComband Dorothy Yates and her husband Edward, also of McComb; herbrother and sister-in-law, A.R. “Pete” and Mildred Bardwell ofMcComb; her brother-in-law and his wife, Carlos and Gladys Moak;her sister-in-law, Anna Bell Moak; her grandchildren, Marvin E. andLeslie Moak, both of Raymond, Pete Moak of Edwards, Lonnie R. Moakof McComb, and Brandon Moak of Summit; her great-grandchild, MarvinTyler Moak of Raymond, and a host of nieces, nephews and familychurch members.
