Services for Billie Jean Baggett, of Sontag, are 11 a.m.Saturday, Aug. 25, at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church inSontag with burial in the church cemetery. Williams Mortuary is incharge of arrangements.
Visitation is Friday from 1 until 4 p.m. at the funeral home.The wake will be held from 7 until 8 p.m. on Friday at thechurch.
Ms. Baggett, 42, died Aug. 18, 2007, at her residence. She wasborn in Jackson on April 20, 1965, to Frank Bennett and EthelBaggett.
She was a 1984 graduate of Lawrence County High School. She wasdisabled and a member of Mt. Pleasant M.B. Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her sister, EarnestineBaggett; and her brothers, Larry Baggett, Bobby Baggett and ExcellBaggett.
Survivors are her son, Maurice Baggett and wife Tameil, of UnionCity, Ga.; her sisters, Celestine Thompson, of Inglewood, Calif.,Ethelene Henderson, Beverly Denise Baggett and Jenifer MarieBaggett, all of Sontag, and Margienell Bennett, of Peachtree City,Ga.; her brothers, Willie James Baggett, of College Park, Ga.,Clarence Edward Baggett, of Lithonia, Ga., Alphonso Baggett andLinza Ray Baggett, both of Sontag, Kenneth Baggett Taylor and JamesBaggett Taylor, both of Gulfport; and her three grandchildren.
