Services for Catherine Gross Smith, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Saturday, June 11 at Pine Grove M.B. Church with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 6 p.m. at WilliamsMortuary.

Mrs. Smith, 80, died June 3, 2005, at Countrybrook LivingCenter. She was born in Flora on May 15, 1925, to Willie Gross andFlora Allen Gross.

She received her diploma from Parish High School in Hazlehurst.She was a retired cook from Copiah-Lincoln Community College whereshe worked for 15 years and at Brook Manor Nursing home where sheworked for 25 years. She was a member of Pine Grove M.B.Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her daughter, FloraByas.

Survivors are her husband, Albert Curtis “A.C.” Smith Sr., ofWesson; his three sons, Willie Smith and his wife, Flordia, of LosAngeles, Albert Curtis Smith Jr. and his wife, Gloria, of Wesson,and Robert Smith and his wife, Gracie, of Los Angeles; 13grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild;and a host of other relatives and friends.
