Services for Earnest Brown, of Brookhaven, are 3 p.m. Monday,March 14 at Kynett United Methodist Church with burial in EbenezerChurch Cemetery.
Visitation is Sunday from noon until 6 p.m. at Williams Mortuaryand Monday from 2-3 p.m. at the church.
Mr. Brown, 86, died March 8, 2005, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Lincoln County on Jan. 1, 1919, to JohnnyBrown and Lilly Sutton Brown.
He was the retired owner of Brown’s Cafe, which he operated forapproximately 55 years. He was a member of Kynett United MethodistChurch.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Luada Brown;his five sisters, Cora Harris, Sally Holloway, Maggie Lyons, VergieMae Banks and Frankie Mack Jones; and his three brothers, WilliamBrown, John Brown and Warren Brown.
Survivors are his son, Edward L. “Mut” Brown, of Brookhaven; andhis grandchildren, LaMonte’ Brown and his wife, Nikki, of Jackson,and Ouida Brown, of Birmingham, Ala.; and a host of nieces,nephews, other relatives and friends.
