Funeral services for Deacon Alvin Benjamin Sr., of Brookhaven,are 3 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 13, at St. Paul Missionary BaptistChurch in Brookhaven, with burial in Carver Heights Cemetery inBrookhaven. The Rev. Leavy will officiate. R.E. Tyler Funeral Homeis in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home, withfamily present from 5 until 6 p.m.

Mr. Benjamin, 88, died Dec. 5, 2010, at Countrybrook Living Centerin Brookhaven. He was born in Brookhaven on Nov. 7, 1922.
