Andy Lee Boyd
Services for Andy Lee Boyd, of Jayess, are 11 a.m. Saturday,Aug. 13 at Powells Grove with burial in the church cemetery. WilsonFuneral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Friday beginning at 5 p.m. at the church.
Mr. Boyd, 51, died Aug. 10, 2005, at his residence. He was bornon April 15, 1954, to Mackley J. Boyd and Katherine BallardBoyd.
He was a retired tool pusher with Trans Ocean. He was a memberof Powells Grove Pentecostal Church.
Preceding him in death were his father; and one brother, Toby L.Boyd.
Survivors are his mother; his wife, Vickie Boyd, of Jayess; hisdaughter, Angel Boyd Powell, of Jayess; his son, Daryl Boyd, ofJayess; his sister, Mary Ellen Ballard, of Clarksville, Tenn.; hisbrothers, Kelly M. Boyd, of Pascagoula, and Tony E. Boyd, ofBuckly, Wash.; his three grandchildren, Cheyenne Powell, JamesPowell and Jamison Boyd.
Memorials may be made to Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital inJackson.
Frank Charles Jackson Sr.
Services for Frank Charles Jackson Sr., of Brookhaven, are 2p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13 at Old St. John M.B. Church in Wesson withburial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.Family hour is Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the church.
Mr. Jackson, 67, died Aug. 8, 2005, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center in Jackson. He was born in Wesson on March 10, 1938,to John Jackson and Bessie Jackson Smith.
He was retired. He was a member of Old St. John M.B. Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents; two daughters, DonnaSmith and Shirley Ann Smith; five grandchildren; and four brothers,John Henry Jackson, Roosevelt Jackson, Robert Lee Jackson and JohnE. Smith.
Survivors are his 10 daughters, Arrsie Oliver, Christine Smithand Alma Jean Smith, all of Brookhaven, Rosie Marie Smith, ofWesson, Elizabeth Cole, of Byrum, Lenora Lyons, of Brookhaven,Victoria Jackson, of Ellisville, Wanda Denise Smith, of Charleston,W.V., and Hope Smith and Lyntine Mims, both of Brookhaven; foursons, Frank Charles Jackson Jr., Nathaniel Smith and Lorenzo Smith,all of Brookhaven, and Jerry Joe Turner, of Wesson; his twosisters, Mattie Mae Turner, of McComb and Johnnie Mae Jones, ofWesson; three brothers, James Jackson, of Chicago, Ill., SylvesterJackson, of New Orleans, and Walter Smith, of Wesson; 32grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces,nephews, other relatives and friends.
Jeffrey Scott Rollins
Services for Jeffrey Scott Rollins, of Summit, were 2 p.m.Saturday, Aug. 6 at Catchings Funeral Home in McComb with burial inMagnolia Cemetery.
Mr. Rollins, 27, died Aug. 3, 2005, in an electrocution accidentin Osyka. He was born in Brookhaven on March 21, 1978. He was theson of Wanda and David Childs, of Summit, and Ronnie and Betty FayeRollins, of Bogue Chitto.
He was a welder.
Preceding him in death were his grandmother, Barbara Childs.
Survivors are his parents; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. BradyOverstreet, of Monticello, Mr. and Mrs. Luther D. Childs, of BaySt. Louis, and Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Rollins, of Bogue Chitto; twobrothers and sisters-n-law, Dale and Samantha Rollins, and Lanceand Kimberly Rollins, all of Summit; two nieces, April L. Rollins,of Summit, and Brittany C.
