Services for Randale Nowell were 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, atMcClain-Hays Chapel in Philadelphia with burial in Harmony Cemeteryin Winston County with Masonic rites.

Mr. Nowell, 70, died June 27, 2009, at his residence. He wasborn in the Nanih Waiya Community of Winston County.

He lived in Leland for a number of years. Mr. Nowell had madehis home in Bogue Chitto since 2003. He was a member ofWinstonville Masonic Lodge.

Survivors are his sons, Justin Nowell, of Bogue Chitto, andDaniel Nowell, of Louisville; a daughter, Pamela Wagner, of BogueChitto; a brother, Larry Wayne Nowell, of Louisville; his sisters,Shirley Knotts, of Louisville, Freda Blakney, of Mize, Doris Beaty,of Byrdstown, Tenn., and Veanice McBrayer, of Ferndale, Mich.; andhis seven grandchildren.
