Funeral services for Arcola Smith, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. onSaturday, Sept. 11, at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church inBrookhaven, with burial in Carver Heights Cemetery in Brookhaven.The Rev. Tyrone Catchings will officiate. R.E. Tyler Funeral Homeis in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 8 p.m., with family presentfrom 6 until 8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mrs. Smith, 85, died Sept. 3, 2010, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter in Brookhaven. She was born on Dec. 5, 1924.
