Robert Lamar Payton

A graveside service for Robert Lamar Payton, of Harvey, Ill.,formerly of Monticello, will be held at noon on Friday, April 20,at Monticello First Baptist Church Cemetery. Williams Mortuary isin charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Thursday from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Payton, 46, died April 10, 2007, in Harvey. He was born inMonticello on Aug. 4, 1960, to Roosevelt Payton and HortensePayton.

He was a entrepreneur. He was a member of First Lutheran Church,of Harvey.

Survivors are his mother, Hortense Payton McCullough; hisfather, Roosevelt Payton; his brother, Douglas Payton; his sister,Stephanie Payton Parker; his children, Ricardo, Robert, Shacongo,Gladys and Meadow; his adopted son, Deyone Harris; and a host ofuncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and friends.
