Services for Charles Kenneth Falvey, of Bogue Chitto, are 11a.m. Thursday, April 15, at Calvary Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto,with burial in the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home onNatchez Drive is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.
Mr. Falvey, 76, died April 12, 2010, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter in Brookhaven. He was born in Lincoln County on Oct. 8,1933, to Willie Andrew Falvey and Arcola Stanley Falvey.
He was a retired oilfield worker and a carpenter. He was a veteranof the U.S. Air Force, and served during the Korean War. He was amember of Calvary Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Marlene SmithFalvey; his brothers, Stanley Falvey and Andrew Falvey; and hissister, Carolyn Falvey Kyzar.
Survivors are his son, Bruce Anthony Falvey, of Bogue Chitto; hisdaughter, Jacqueline “Jackie” Falvey Philliber and husband RobertC. “Joey” Philliber, of Lafayette, La.; his granddaughter, RaganRenee Philliber, of Nacogdoches, Texas; and his brother, EricLinsber Falvey, of Texas.
