Services for L. C. Robinson of Brookhaven are 11 a.m., Thursday,Nov. 29, at New Hope M. B. Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from noon until 8 p.m. with family hourfrom 7-8 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mr. Robinson, 76, died Nov. 24, 2001, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. He was born in Lincoln County on May 19, 1925, toMilton Robinson Jr. and Priscilla Robinson.

He was retired. He was a member of New Hope M. B. Church. He wasa veteran of the Navy.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brothers, WillieRobinson and J. E. Robinson; and his sister, Gussie Mae White.

Survivors are his sons, Jessie James Robinson of Brookhaven andThaddeus Robinson of Joliet, Ill.; his stepson, Don Bowens ofJoliet; his daughter, Rosetta Douglas of Chicago; his brothers,Odell Robinson of Milwaukee, Wis., and David Earl Robinson andJessie Lee Robinson, both of Brookhaven; his sisters, Lela Blissettof Chicago and Daisy Louise Robinson of Brookhaven; and fourgrandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
