Services for Hazel Faye Townsend, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Saturday, May 15, at Mercy Seat AME Church in Wesson, with burialin church cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 1 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home, withfamily hour from 7 until 8 pm.

Ms. Townsend, 55, died May 12, 2010, at her residence. She was bornin Lincoln County on Jan. 23, 1955, to Theodore Townsend and ElsieLee Kelly Townsend.

She was disabled. She was a member of Mercy Seat AME. Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her brothers, John D.Calcote, Otha Lee Brown, Jessie B. Johnson and Roosevelt Townsend;and her sister, Mazie Lee Townsend.

Survivors are her brothers, John J. Townsend, of Brookhaven, andHenry J. Townsend, of Bassfield; her sisters, Dianne Townsend andInez Newton, of Brookhaven, Lula Marie Williams, of McComb, andMary Lee Presley, of Monticello; and a host of nieces, nephews,aunts, uncles and other relatives.
