Services for Maude Taylor Whittington of Crystal Springs were 2p.m. Saturday, June 1, at Highland Baptist Church with burial inCrystal Springs Cemetery.

Mrs. Whittington, 91, died Wednesday, May 29, 2002, at CopiahLiving Center in Crystal Springs. Stringer Funeral Home was incharge of arrangements.

She was retired from Crystal Springs Shirt Factory. She was amember of Highland Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Whittington.

Survivors include sons, Bob Whittington of Houston, Texas, JimWhittington of Zachary, La., and John R. Whittington of CrystalSprings; daughters, Vera W. Taylor and Shirley Deaton, both ofCrystal Springs, and Marty Bates of Harrisville; 23 grandchildren,33 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
