Connie Sherrill Boyd

Services for Connie Sherrill Boyd, of Ruth, were 11 a.m. today,Nov. 9, at Ruth Baptist Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Mrs. Boyd, 59, died Nov. 7, 2005, at her residence. She was bornon Feb. 24, 1946, to Ralph Sherdon McCullough and Ida Mae HayneMcCullough.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Ruth BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; one half brother, E.G.Lawrence, of Chicago; two half sisters, Nirene Dunaway, of McComb,and Naomi Lawrence, of Chicago.

Survivors are her husband, Charles Cecil Boyd; her son, CecilGarrett Boyd and his wife, Pamela S. Boyd, of Tupelo; her daughter,Veronica Sheryl Boyd, of Ruth; her brothers, Glen McCullough, ofBogue Chitto, Hewitt McCullough, of Enon, and Arnold McCullough andHouston McCullough, both of Bogue Chitto; three grandchildren,Tyler Tanner and Karriss Boyd, of Tupelo.

Oteal Watson Dixon

Services for Oteal Watson Dixon, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Friday, Nov. 11 at Macedonia M.B. Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 1 to 5 p.m. at WilliamsMortuary.

Mrs. Dixon, 78, died Nov. 6, 2005, at the University ofMississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She was born on Oct. 17,1927, to Fred Watson and Cora Watson.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Macedonia M.B.Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her brothers, FredWatson Jr., Frank Watson, Eugene Watson and Felo Watson; hersister, Eula McMorris; and a grandson, Marvin Durr.

Survivors are her husband, Lonnie B. Dixon Sr.; her sons, LonnieB. Dixon Jr. and his wife, Mary A. Dixon, Roy Lee Dixon and John L.Dixon, all of Brookhaven; her daughters, Ora Jackson and herhusband, Dr. Isaac Jackson, of Canton, and Frances Durr and herhusband, the Rev. Jerry Durr, of Brookhaven; her sisters, LenetteSeastrong, of Bly, Ore., and Celastine Markham, Arzetta Markham andMyra Caldwell, all of Los Angeles; 11 grandchildren; 13great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and otherrelatives.

Carroll D. Eubanks

Services for Carroll D. Eubanks, of Seminary, are 2 p.m. today,Nov. 9 at Wade-Nowell Funeral Home Chapel in Collins with burial inOld Zion Hill Cemetery in Smith County.

Visitation is today from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Eubanks, 54, died Nov. 8, 2005, at Wesley Medical Center inHattiesburg.

He was a truck driver for Wade Transport and a member of CollinsChurch of Christ. He was an avid fisherman, NASCAR fan, Bravesbaseball fan and had a special love for Ole Miss football.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Fred and Minnie LouBeavers Eubanks; and a brother, Fred Edward Eubanks.

Survivors are his wife, Gail Eubanks, of Seminary; three sons,Shannon Eubanks, of Brookhaven, Neal Eubanks, of Houma, La., andObie Casteel, of Seminary; three brothers, Jim Eubanks, of Byram,Wayne Eubanks, of Collins, and Ricky Eubanks, of Purvis; onesister, Fredna Sue Eubanks, of Seminary; and one granddaughter.

Thelma Pendleton

Services for Thelma Pendleton, of Wesson, are 1 p.m. Friday,Nov. 11 at Little Rock M.B. Church in Wesson with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 1 to 8:30 p.m. with family hour from7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Miss Pendleton, 67, died Nov. 5, 2005, at Haven Hall NursingCenter. She was born on Sept. 11, 1938, to John Pendleton and MamieStovall.

She was retired and a member of Little Rock M.B. Church. Shegraduated from Progress High School in 1955. She also attendedJackson State University and Alcorn State University.

Preceding her in death were her parents; a brother, JohnPendleton; and a daughter, Elnora Pendleton.

Survivors are her brothers, James Earl Stovall and his wife,Doris, of Wesson, the Rev. Keith Pendleton and his wife, Cassondra,of Memphis, and Marshall Pendleton, of St. Louis; her stepmother,Arthurine Pendleton, of Memphis; a devoted cousin, Elaine Magee, ofJackson; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

O’Neal Woodland

Services for O’Neal Woodland, of Wesson, are 2 p.m. Saturday,Nov. 12 at Shady Grove Baptist Church with burial in the churchcemetery. Cook Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Saturday from noon until 2 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Woodland, 90, died Nov. 5, 2005, at St. Dominic/JacksonMemorial Hospital.

He was a retired farmer.
