Funeral services for Charles Ray Rippy, of Wesson, are 2 p.m. onWednesday, Sept. 22, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel,with burial in Mt. Olive Church of Christ Cemetery inBrookhaven.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Rippy, 67, died Sept. 20, 2010, at his residence. He was bornin Mississippi on July 29, 1943, to Robert “Bob” Rippy and HelenJenkins.

He was disabled. He was a member of the Southern Baptistfaith.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Marie Roberts;his sister, Sally Womack; and his brothers, James “Jimmy” Rippy,John Zade Rippy, Robert Rippy, Luther Rippy and Roger Smith.

Survivors are his son, Charles Christopher Rippy and wife, JenniferRippy; his daughter, Wendy May and husband, Todd May; his brothers,Bobby Ray Rippy, Billy Ray Rippy, Glenn Rippy, Donnie Rippy andJackie Rippy; his sisters, Shirley Ray Kendall and Kathy Rippy; andhis grandchildren, Ethan Collins May and Landon Cup.
