Hansel Brown

Services for Hansel Brown of Bogue Chitto are 9 a.m., Thursday,Oct. 5, at Lakewood South Funeral Home with burial in LakewoodSouth Memorial Park.

Visitation is Wednesday, Oct. 4, from 5-7 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Brown, 83, died Oct. 2, 2000, of complications frompneumonia at the V. A. Medical Center in Jackson. He was born inBogue Chitto.

He was a pipe fitter and journeyman. He was a member of BethelBaptist Church. He was a veteran of WWII.

Survivors are his son, Paul Brown of Brandon; his daughters,Peggy Kister of Canton and Patsy Nilsen of Mandeville, La.; hisbrothers, Hilton Brown, Hulon Brown, and Robert Brown, all of BogueChitto; his sisters, Katie Boyd of Odessa, Texas, Betty Smith ofBrookhaven, June Ballard and Ella R. Jordan, both of Brookhaven,and Charlotte Matthews of Florence; and four grandchildren andthree great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Mississippi Alzheimer’sAssociation.

J. Keith Daniels

Services for J. Keith Daniels of Poplarville are 1 p.m.,Wednesday, Oct. 4, at the Marvin R. White Coliseum on the PearlRiver Community College campus in Poplarville and at 5 p.m. at NewZion Baptist Church in Monticello with burial in the churchcemetery.

Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Daniels, 51, died Oct. 2, 2000, of a brain hemorrhage atForrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. He was born Oct. 26, 1948,to Joe Jolly Daniels and Vermell Daniels.

He was head football coach and athletic director at Pearl RiverCommunity College in Poplarville. He was a member of First UnitedMethodist Church in Poplarville. He was a native of Natchez.

Preceding him in death was his father.

In addition to his mother, survivors are his wife, CharoletteHartzog Daniels of Poplarville; his daughter, Olivia Elizabeth”Sunny” Daniels of Poplarville; and his sister, Nell Rose Johnsonof Clinton.

Maxine Cloy Twiner

Services for Maxine Cloy Twiner of Meadville are 2 p.m.,Wednesday, Oct. 4, at Bunkley Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery. Visitation Wednesday is until service time at thechurch. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Twiner, 83, died Oct. 2, 2000, at her residence. She wasborn in Franklin County on July 7, 1917, to Thomas Cloy andElizabeth Murray Cloy.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Bunkley BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents, four brothers, and twosisters.

Survivors are her husband, A. J. Twiner of Meadville; her son,Charles Twiner of Meadville; her daughters, Betty Jo Bedford, GailArnold and Charlotte Chance, all of Meadville, Jannette Dykes ofSmithdale and Patricia Griffin of Jackson; 12 grandchildren, 29great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
