Services for Rachel Hunnicutt Bibby, of McComb, are 11 a.m.Tuesday, Dec. 16, at Navilla Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery. Hartman-Sharkey Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Monday from 5 until 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 10a.m. until the time of the service. Both visitations will be heldat the church.

Mrs. Bibby, 84, died Dec. 12, 2008, at McComb Extended Care. Shewas born in Mobile, Ala. on April 9, 1924, to Arvell Jefferson andIris Duffey Hunnicutt.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Navilla Baptist Church,where she served as a Sunday school teacher and G.A. leader. Shewas also a member of the Elizabeth Sunday school class.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Vernon D.Bibby Sr.; three brothers, A.J. Hunnicutt, Jimmy Hunnicutt andHerschel Hunnicutt; a great-granddaughter; and a son-in-law.

Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, David Bibby Jr. andShannon, of Prairie Grove, Ark.; three daughters and twosons-in-law, Jackie and Donald Brown, of McComb, Donna and BobWhite, of Ocala, Fla., and Linda Gordon, of Bogue Chitto; hersister, Rosemary Kielbasa, of Birmingham, Ala.; her brother, EdwardHunnicutt, of Durant, Okla.; 11 grandchildren; 24great-grandchildren; and three great-great-granddaughters.
