Services for Joseph “Joe” McCall of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.,Monday, Feb. 23, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church with burialin the church cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday from 2-7 p.m., with family present from 6-7p.m., at Tyler Funeral Home.

Mr. McCall, 76, died Feb. 16, 2004, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Lincoln County on March 29, 1927, to ShermanLee McCall and Emma Coleman McCall.

He was a logger for Dunaway Logging. He was a member of Mt. ZionMissionary Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his father; two children; a sister,Bessie Stewart; and a brother, John C. McCall.

Survivors are his mother, Emma Coleman McCall of Brookhaven; hiswife, Annie Mae Clark McCall of Brookhaven; his daughters, JoannJohnson, Ruth Ann Brice, Aline McCall, Brenda Sanders, Linda Henryand Mary McCall, all of Brookhaven; his sons, Sherman Lee McCalland Johnny B. McCall, both of Brookhaven, and Robert Kelly ofHartford, Conn.; his sisters, Mae Frances Coleman of Michigan, andEmma Marie Allen, Alice Henderson, Alean Eley and Dorothy Smith,all of Brookhaven; his brothers, the Rev. R.C. McCall and LutherMcCall, both of Brookhaven; 40 grandchildren; 29great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host ofnieces and nephews.
