Funeral services for Doskie June Boyte Brister of Ocean Springs are 2 p.m. on Monday, May 20, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service, with burial in Union Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Monday from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Brister, 75, died May 16, 2013 in D’Iberville. She was born in Brookhaven on May 27, 1937 to Ruie Lamar Boyte and Dollie White Boyte.

She was part of an administrative staff for nursing homes and a member of First Baptist Church of Biloxi.

Preceding her in death were her parents and brother, Wendell Boyte.

Survivors are her daughters, Dawn Brister Jones and husband, Wess, and Donna Brister Walker and husband, Steve; brother, Carlos Boyte and wife, Margaret; sister, Brenda Boyte; sister-in-law, Helen Boyte; three grandchildren, Karen Jones, Kristen Walker and David Walker; father of her children, Von Brister; caregivers, Tom and Carol Thompson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
