Services for Pearl Asalee Pennington of Brookhaven are 10 a.m.,Saturday, Sept. 20, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burialin Easthaven Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 3-8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mrs. Pennington, 74, died Sept. 17, 2003, at her residence. Shewas born in Lexington, Okla., on Oct. 12, 1928, to James DavidRodgers and Eva M. Wallace Rodgers.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her husband, Johnnie Pennington of Brookhaven; herson and daughter-in-law, Robert Loyd Pennington and wife, Machelle,of Lorena, Texas; and her grandchildren, Lacey Machelle Powell andMatthew Powell, both of Lorena, and Johnnie Lee Pennington ofGermany.
