VICKSBURG — The Warren Central Lady Vikings downed the WessonLady Cobras 7-2 in girls slowpitch softball play Thursdaynight.

Selena Montgomery posted the win with one strikeout and nowalks. Julie Berry took the loss with three strikeouts and nowalks.

Pacing Wesson with a double and single was Stacey Lowery. PerryK. Furr singled twice. Sam Ellison, Nikki McCardle, Bethany Dykesand Berry singled.

Cookie Johnson tripled and singled twice for Warren Central.Loren Anderson rippled a double and a pair of singles. Singlingthree times was Selena Montgomery. Amand Doyle, Tiffany Fuller andBrittany Fuller collected two singles apiece. Hitting safely wereShawa Johnson, Candace Blazier and Mandy Fuller.

Wesson knocked off Warren Central 7-3. Dykes was the winningpitcher with two strikeouts and four walks. At the plate, Dykessingled and doubled.
