Services for Jewell R. Laird, of Centerville, Ohio, are 11 a.m.Wednesday, July 23, at Brookhaven Funeral Home on North JacksonStreet with burial in New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery inBrookhaven.

Visitation is Wednesday from 10 until 11 a.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Laird, 88, died July 19, 2008, at Brighton Gardens AssistedLiving.

She touched many lives with her kind heart, beautiful smile andgenerous spirit.

Preceding her in death were her parents, J.B. and Leota Rhea;her beloved husband of 55 years, Judge Laird, her baby brother,J.B.; her sisters, Elsie Bell and Pattie Parker; and a nephew,Charles Smith.

Survivors are her sister, Billie R. Fodrin; and her threenieces, Wanda Kitts, B. Diane Smith and Melanie Sparks.
