Services for Lee Edward Mercier II of the Sartinville communityare 2 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 31, at Hartman Funeral Home of McCombChapel with burial in Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery. Services willbe conducted by the Revs. Rob Westbrook, Millard Purl and MarkWicker.

Visitation is Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., at thefuneral home.

Mr. Mercier, 37, died Dec. 30, 2003, in Sumrall. He was born inMagnolia on July 6, 1966, to Thomas J. and Melba Mercier.

He was a truck driver for Sanderson Farms. He was a longtimemember of Hebron Baptist Church and recently moved his membershipto Salem Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his paternalgrandfather, Lee Edward Mercier; his maternal grandmother, LulaBagwell; his maternal grandfather, Carlos Futch; and hisfather-in-law, Nelson Stogner.

Survivors are his parents, Thomas J. Mercier and Melba Mercier,both of Liberty; his grandmother, Margarete Mercier of Magnolia;his wife, Deanna Levelle Stogner Mercier of Sartinville; hisdaughter, Leia Lenea Mercier of Sartinville; his sons, Roman LeeMercier and Darren Thomas Mercier, both of Sartinville; hisbrothers, Parish W. Mercier of Liberty, and Sean Keith Mercier ofLayton, Utah; his mother-in-law, Myrtle Stogner of McComb; and hisbrother-in-law and wife, Keith and Janie Stogner of BogueChitto.

Pallbearers will be Barry Gerald, Wayne Byrd, Russell Byrd,Rusty Moak, Trent Barron, Stevie Moore and Joey Guillory.
