Services for Kobie Jermaine “Nu Nu” Cotton Sr., of Baker, La.,were 1 p.m. Saturday, June 6, at the Homochitto AssociationBuilding in Gloster with burial in Damascus Cemetery. MarshallFuneral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Cotton, 30, died May 31, 2009, at Field Memorial Hospital inCentreville. He was born in Chicago, Ill. on Jan. 11, 1979, to LoisCotton-Jones and Thomas C. Jackson.

Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, L. C. andRuthie Cotton; his paternal grandfather, Prince Jackson; his aunt,Wilma Norman; and three uncles.

Survivors are his daughters, Kamyra Cotton and Ku’Nyria Cotton;his sons, Kobie Cotton Jr., JaKobie Butler and JaCarri Cotton; hisparents; his brother, Kenneth “KJ” Jones; his sister, Kenyiatta”Nanaye” Jones; the mothers of his children, Sherrie Webb andMelinda Butler; two godbrothers; 16 aunts; eight uncles; and manyother relatives and friends.

Clyde ‘Gabby’ Hayes

Graveside services for Clyde “Gabby” Hayes, of Vidalia, La., are2 p.m. Sunday, June 7, at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Bro.Ronald Hall will officiate. Laird Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at thefuneral home.

Mr. Hayes, 82, died June 5, 2009. He was born in Lincoln Countyon June 24, 1926, to Willie Robert Hayes and Ella Lofton Hayes.

He was a longtime employee of L.J. Denny and Son Trucking Co.and also worked during his retirement years at KCS Lumber Yard.

Preceding him in death were his wives, Virgie Montgomery Hayesand Jenny Campbell Hayes; his son, Francis Lee “Shorty” Hayes; hisbrothers, Rufus Hayes and Willie Hayes; and his sisters, MaryForbes, Addie Case, Lillian Burns, Ada Case, Eloise Delaughter andRuby Bailey.

Survivors are his son, Danny Hayes and wife, Cherry, of Natchez;his daughters, Virginia Price and fiance, Alton Gray, of Natchez,Darlene Darnell and husband, Keith, and Doris Roberts and fiance,Joseph Beach, all of Vidalia, La.; eight grandchildren; eightgreat-grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and his sister-in-law,Mattie Hayes, of Brookhaven.

Pallbearers will be Kelley Barlow, Wade Darnell Jr., RayfordAinsworth, Ricky Reid, Alton Gray, Jeremy Mullins and BertMorace.

Mr. London, 32, died May 30, 2009, in Indianola. He was born inFranklin County on Aug. 31, 1976, to R. J. London Sr. andCharliesteen Causey London.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and three sisters.

Survivors are his sisters, Emma Robinson, Cassandra Adams, CindyLondon and Myra London, all of Bude, and Arlene London and SallyJefferson, both of McComb; his brothers, R. J. London Jr., of Bude,and Raymond London, of McComb; one uncle; and many other relativesand friends.
