Services for Willie Mae Barnes, of Houston, Texas, are 2 p.m.today, March 17, at Brookhaven Funeral Home with burial inHollywood City Cemetery in McComb.

Mrs. Barnes, 86, died March 13, 2006, at Cypress FairbanksHospital in Houston. She was born in Jayess on March 16, 1919, toLuther S. Boyd and Lettie Carney Boyd.

She was retired from her job as a school administrator with theSt. Mary Parish School Board in Franklin, La. She was a member ofFirst Baptist Church in Brookhaven.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husbands, A.C.Bright and Felton Barnes.

Survivors are her daughter, Judith Hutchinson, of Houston; hersister, Ruby Lee Talbert, of Jackson; her grandchildren, PamelaMiller and husband, Glen; and great-grandchildren, Lauren AshleyMiller and Ashley Nicole Miller.
