Funeral services for Martrue Hart Wilson,of Magnolia, are 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 24, at Terry’s CreekBaptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. ToddSumrall and Dr. David Millican will be officiating. Jones FamilyFuneral Services is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Tuesday from 1 until 3 p.m. at the church.
Mrs. Wilson, 80, died Jan. 22, 2012, at Southwest MississippiRegional Medical Center. She was born in Bogue Chitto on Nov. 27,1931 to Clarence “Pete” and Minnie Brown Hart.
She was a homemaker and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Shewas longtime member of Terry’s Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Wilsonloved to cook and take care of her family.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Charles W.Wilson; one son, David Lane Wilson; one brother, John Q. Hart; andtwo sisters, Trivis Moak and Janie Verlene Gilmer.
Survivors are her sons, Doyle Wilson and wife, Debbie, of Summit,and Bruce Wilson and wife, Susan, of Madison; sister, June Newman,of Bogue Chitto; six grandchildren, Kimberly Brister and husband,Eric, Matthew Wilson and wife, Jennifer, Erin Wilson, TaylorWilson, Nicky Wilson and Hannah Wilson; and fivegreat-grandchildren, Aiden Wilson, Charley Brister, AbbygailWilson, Maci Wilson and Jace Brandon.
